“Every stroke carries the weight of a thousand thoughts.”
Han Ji-Won is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, mixed media, and installation. Born in Seoul, she studied fine arts in Berlin, where she discovered her passion for deconstructing traditional forms.
Her paintings are known for their ethereal textures, often blending layers of oil, acrylic, and organic materials like rice paper. She explores themes of identity, memory, and impermanence, creating works that feel like fragments of dreams captured on canvas. Han’s pieces have been described as “poetic and hauntingly beautiful,” drawing influence from both Korean minimalism and European avant-garde movements.
Beyond her studio practice, she actively collaborates with fashion designers and architects, integrating visual art into unexpected spaces.
