Breaking the Silence is an exploration of the conflict between stillness and expression. The composition begins with deep, brooding black and gray tones, representing the weight of silence, while sharp splashes of red and orange break through, as if shattering the quiet with energy and movement. The ink is used in fluid, unpredictable strokes that cut through the thick acrylic layers, symbolizing moments of sudden clarity or realization that interrupt the calm.

The piece is layered, with some parts of the canvas appearing almost completely dark, while others are bursting with color, creating a rhythmic tension between the two. The flowing lines and erratic forms feel like an internal battle—the quiet of the mind at odds with the desire to speak, to shout, to express.
